Water flow
switches are used to interface between the building's fire suppression system and the building's
fire alarm system. It detects water flowing in the sprinkler system and causes the fire alarm
system to sound the evacuation.
Tamper switches
are used to detect unauthorized operation of a main control valve in a sprinkler or standpipe
system. Transmits an electrical impulse to activate audible or visual alarm.
A float switch is
a type of level sensor, a device used to detect the level of liquid within a tank. The switch
may be used to control a pump, as an indicator, an alarm, or to control other devices.
